What is now affectionately known as Goosenest Grove began as a quiet, untouched 15-acre patch of wild land. At the heart of it all was Trent Mehlhoff, the property’s visionary, who dreamed big—starting small—with a single tire swing nestled in the trees behind his home.

From that simple swing, magic began to unfold.

With each step of clearing and care, the land revealed its charm and potential. One swing became two. Then came the teepees, a rustic pavilion, a wonderous 2000-square-foot yurt, a whimsical treehouse, and twinkling string lights that dance through the trees and keep the laughter going long after sunset. Vintage décor now adds a timeless character, and every corner whispers stories of celebration and joy.
